Overview

S’biji Khopi Cafe, nestled in the heart of Bandar Indahpura, Kulai, offers a comforting retreat for coffee lovers and food enthusiasts alike. This coffee shop combines Malaysian culinary favorites with classic café delights, making it a versatile spot for casual meals and coffee breaks. Located at 86, Jln. Kenanga 29/11, its cozy ambiance invites both locals and visitors seeking a laid-back atmosphere to unwind.

The cafe’s menu showcases a well-curated blend of hearty mains and tempting beverages. Standouts include the Chicken Chop, which pairs a generous portion of meat with thoughtfully balanced sauces like Daging Hitam and Masak Lomak, embracing local flavors with a modern touch. For rice lovers, the Nasi Daging Hitam offers a fragrant, savory experience, while the Asam Pedas presents a zesty, spicy kick characteristic of traditional Malaysian cuisine.

Coffee at S’biji Khopi Cafe earns consistent praise. The Coffee Latte is smooth and comforting, although quality can vary slightly across different branches. The cafe also caters to dessert aficionados with treats like Coklat & Marshmello Kek and Biscoff Cheesecake. While the cheesecake’s cheese tang is appreciated, some find the base less refined, hinting at room for improvement in patisserie craft. The Salted Egg Croissant deserves special mention, striking a fine balance between rich salted egg flavor and tender pastry—a favorite among repeat customers.

Customer experience here stands out not just for the food and drink but for the service. Staff members are frequently described as friendly, attentive, and polite, enhancing each visit with genuine warmth. Remarkable moments, such as helpful tips from the manager about takeaway storage, underline the team’s commitment to customer satisfaction. These thoughtful interactions elevate S’biji Khopi Cafe beyond a simple dining stop.

Though some dishes—like the chicken chop with black pepper sauce—have drawn criticism for texture and flavor inconsistency, the cafe’s overall footprint leans towards a positive, reliable choice for those craving a blend of Western and Malay dishes alongside quality coffee. The setting is ideal for friends, small groups, and solo visitors who appreciate simple comforts without the fuss.

In essence, S’biji Khopi Cafe captures the essence of a community-driven coffee shop with a focus on familiar tastes and warm hospitality. It’s a practical destination for anyone in Kulai looking to enjoy approachable dishes paired with well-crafted coffee in a welcoming space.

I had to write this right away after visiting the outlet. I just went there for a takeaway, but the staff was sooo kind. You have my gratitude manager(?) girl. I assumed she was a manager as the cashier girl asked her for help. I asked the cashier which is the best selling cake and she kindly told me in a polite way. Then I asked her if I takeaway the s.e. croissant for my breakfast tmrw, will it still be good (as I don't have a chiller and a microwave atm). She was clueless so she asked the manager for help. The manager kindly explained to me and even suggested a way so that the croissant will still be good. Their kind gesture put me in a good mood. Thank you girls! Ps i hope you guys read this Ok the food rating: - S. E. Croissant: 4/5. Salted egg taste is not too overwhelmed and the croissant is not too flaky ( I like mine a bit soft) - Biscoff Cheesecake: 3/5. I like the tangy taste from the cheese but the crackers at the bottom (cake base) taste artificial.

Aglio & bolognese was good. What dissapointed us is the chicken chop n black pepper sauce (the meat is not so tender and tasteless, moreover not cooked so well) and the sauce was watery.

Very premium looking coffee shop! Ordered Hazelnut cappuchino, very nice coffee aroma! Nice environment with jazz music. Sparkling clean inside, service quite fast and with order buzzer that let you know when your order is served.

Nice & beautiful place. Good for casual discussion with a cup of coffee. Oh yeah, sometimes you need 'heavy' meals instead of a piece of cake. Yeahh we call it 'lapar nasi' haha
